Philippians 4:6 - Be careful for nothing, but in all things by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Careful - Mer-im-nah’-o
Anxious
Supplication - deh’-ay-sis

Thanksgiving - yoo-khar-is-tee’-ah
Gratitude
Be anxious for nothing, but in everthing by prayer and petition with gratitude let your requests be made known unto God.
Believe that you will recieve that which you have asked.
Mat 21:22 And2532 all things,3956 whatsoever3745, 302 ye shall ask154 in1722 prayer,4335 believing,4100 ye shall receive.2983 Prayer is as important as the air that you breath. It’s our communication with God.
In Acts 6, it talks about when the widows were being neglected. Lets turn there
Acts 6:1-4
Act 6:4 But1161 we2249 will give ourselves continually4342 to prayer,4335 and2532 to the3588 ministry1248 of the3588 word.3056 The minsitry of the word is just as important as prayer. And they said they are going to “give themselves” to prayer
That “give ourselves continually” means to be earnest towards. Diligent. This is something they were determined to do because they knew how important and powerful that it was.

As you can see, prayer is important and prayer is powerful. Prayer accomplishes much and God wants us in prayer. Continually.
And how did Paul and others in the word know God. Through prayer. Through his word. They had that intimate relationship with him. We should desire that type of relationship.
Also, It’s important that we have intimate relationship with God so that we feel comfotable to make our requests known.
We are Righteous. We are worthy to ask.
It’s about learning to rely on Him and not on others. Learning to rely on the spirit in you as apposed to your flesh.
We need to learn take what God says for truth. Many times we want to use our senses to confirm or refute what God tells us.
What do we know about our senses?
They’re not full proof.
Who is?
Galatians 1:11-16
Paul knew and trusted the word of God. He walked and talked with God. And then he made his decisions based on what that word was. And he did it immediately.
We need to start getting more awake to the voice of God.
And when we do recieve it, stop asking others if it’s right. That’s you and God.
When God gave you specific direction, you don’t seek the opinion of 0thers or the flesh, you what?
DO IT. ACT ACCORDINGLY
Galatians 2:1-6
But when God said it, that settles it.
You don’t need anyone’s blessing or permission. We need to rely on the Christ in us and not look to the flesh before following God’s guidance.
Careful: Not to be used lightly
You can’t just spout stuff off that God supposedly said.
How are we known. By our fruit. Your words MUST line up with the word.
And again, it’s God that we go to. It’s God who is the ultimate counselor. It’s God who is the ultimate teacher
GOD
God first and then, if needed man. Don’t take man completely out. I wouldn’t be where i am in my $$ if it weren’t for man. I mean it is the body of Christ. I made my request known unto God and he supplied through the body. But God MUST be our first
Go To Guy
And then, once you have laid it down, the peace of God will keep your hearts and minds. You can have that peace of mind. That stillness. That quietness.
God speaks to you just as he did to Paul. So…
Be anxious for ___ Nothing
But in______ Everything
by___&_____ Prayer & Supplication
with thanksgiving let your
requests be made known unto__ God
what happens?
The ____ of God Peace
Passeth ___ Understanding All
Shall keep your ____ Heart and mind
Through _____ Christ Jesus
Know that you know that you know. You wanna know God’s voice. You want to know it more clearly. You want to discern the difference. Well, what do you do
Make your request known!
Many times we want to confirm what God has told us with our senses. He says you are to go to “such a place” and you begin to say to yourself, “but how, i dont’ have a car”
Stop. Take your thoughts captive. And act according to what God has told you.
Remembering not to rely on the flesh for our battle isn’t against the flesh.

This was so awesome for me to receive today, because I have been seeking God’s face, and asking him to supply ALL my needs and answere my fervent prayers. Thank you for reminding me that I don’t have to be anxious for anything.

Is there a specific scripture reference in which it states to make our request known to man after making it know to God first?
